Large extrusion plants have common colors like white and black on production lines. But dark blue is a niche color. The masterbatch formula needs to be prepared individually and the cleaning of the screw and adjustment of the equipment takes time and money. Hence, most of the factories are not willing to run separate machines for small to medium batch orders. This situation creates a dilemma in which many customers with specific visual identity (VI) needs or specific industry applications cannot obtain the necessary materials.

When the customer’s request came in, our technical team didn’t just say no, but instead searched through our past color powder archives.
Exact Color Matching: Dark blue seems simple but is prone to shade variations. We performed multi-sampling comparisons based on our accumulated formulating experience and color swatches provided by the customer to ensure the color reproduction accuracy over 95%. Not a purplish navy blue or a blackish indigo, but a standard industrial dark blue.

During the production process, we strictly control the melt temperature and extrusion pressure, so that this batch of dark blue HDPE sheets not only have a beautiful appearance, but also retain the inherent acid and alkali resistance, low temperature impact resistance and excellent electrical insulation properties of HDPE material.
