How to distinguish between pure PP and recycled PP sheets:
1. Check the surface gloss.
2. Check the whiteness, not just the surface, but mainly the whiteness of the cut surface.
3. Check the smell. Light a flame with a lighter, blow it out after 3 seconds, and smell the smoke. Distinguish it from pure PP. Note that some color pigments have a strong odor that may mask some of the PP's smell.
4. Wire Drawing Test: After extinguishing the fire, quickly touch the molten metal with an iron object and then quickly pull it apart. Observe whether the wire formation is uniform. If it is uniform, it is pure raw material. After pulling several times, overlap the wires and pull them apart again to see if they are elastic and can be pulled apart again without breaking. Wires that do not break or break after being pulled a certain distance are pure raw material.
5. If the above cannot be confirmed, you can use fire. If black smoke is emitted rapidly during combustion or molten material drips rapidly, it is recycled material.
PP Sheet (A): Made from pure material. Sheet A has uniform material, a smooth surface, and better high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and bending resistance than sheet B. It is generally used to make plastic fish tanks, defogging towers, pickling tanks, electroplating tanks, ventilation ducts, etc.
PP Sheet (B): Made from recycled material. Sheet B has the same flatness as sheet A, but the color is darker, and the surface may have a small number of black spots and bubbles due to impurities in the material. It can be used in environments with less stringent requirements.
